Trendway Awarded AeraMax Pro Agreement with Equalis Group

Trendway, a Fellowes Contract Interiors brand, is pleased to announce that it has earned a publicly procured, competitively solicited contract award for indoor air quality from Region 10 Education Service Center (Region 10), an Equalis Group Lead Agency.

AeraMax® Pro air purifiers offered by Trendway are commercial-grade air purification systems that remove at least 99.95% of particles as small as 0.1 microns, including allergens, such as pollen, dust, pet dander, and smoke from indoor spaces. AeraMax Pro is the only solution that combines H13 True HEPA filtration with EnviroSmart™ and PureView™ Technologies to continuously monitor contaminant levels and room occupancy to automatically adjust to provide maximum protection, while PureView shares information on-screen in real-time.

What’s more, AeraMax Pro air purifiers demonstrated, through independent laboratory testing, to be effective in eliminating aerosolized concentration of SARS-CoV-2 and its variants by 99.9999% through a single air pass test of the purifier.

“We are thrilled to work with Equalis Group and reinforce the benefits of improved indoor air quality beyond COVID-19 virus reduction and its impact on healthier classrooms, reduced absenteeism, well-being, and productivity,” said Arti Lyde, Fellowes Global GM, Air Treatment. “We anticipate improving indoor air quality to be a continued effort and growing need. Our relationship with Equalis Group represents our joint commitment to providing clean air solutions for healthier indoor spaces.”

Equalis Group delivers compliant, publicly procured cooperative agreements that public sector entities, including federal and state agencies, local governments, and educational institutions across the country can utilize to: i) quickly acquire the products and services they need; ii) receive better pricing through the collective buying power of Equalis Group Members; and, iii) save time through Equalis Group’s legal and compliant alternative to conducting their own resource-consuming solicitation process.

This contract was procured and awarded in accordance with the requirements of 2-C.F.R. Part 200, commonly referred to as “Uniform Guidance”. This allows public sector entities receiving federal dollars to spend those dollars through Equalis Group’s already-procured contracts without having to conduct their own bid or request for proposals (RFP).

”We look forward to working with Trendway, a trusted and established company in air purification, to improve the indoor air quality for all of our group members,” said Eric Merkle, SVP, Procurement at Equalis Group. “Our organization improves the procurement process for our members, and this new partnership with Trendway will help expedite the installation of air purifiers in our members’ buildings to improve wellness and reduce absenteeism.”
