Commercial Cabinet Solutions now a division of Obsidian Solution, LLC
In 2010 OBSIDIAN was born from a merger of Scott Goodwin’s “Ideas@Retail”, a custom fabricator of retail and hospitality display, fixtures and furniture and Jon Yamamoto’s “Arco Steel”, a stainless-steel converter and fabricator. Since then, the combination of Goodwin’s creative and design talents and Yamamoto’s engineering skills has built a strong reputation for delivering what architects, owners and designers dream up! From unique architectural installations, branded merchandising solutions to larger than life decorative acoustic features in all fifty states and Canada, Obsidian also provides OEM and product development services to major providers in the commercial interiors market.
OBSIDIAN’s long-time solution for many of its projects utilizing wood, panels and laminates has been its relationship with COMMERCIAL CABINET SOLUTIONS. According to Scott Goodwin, one of the founding principles of OBSIDIAN, “Nanette and Dave Meadows have proven themselves to be our go-to vendor not only for the actual production, but also as our design, engineering and installation partner”. This relationship actually predates the merger of Jon’s and Scott’s companies that formed what is now OBSIDIAN.
Commercial Cabinet Solutions has been a custom contract furniture and fixture and case goods producer in Lewisville, Texas, since 1992. The shop is CNC driven and production integrated with capabilities from 1 to 1000 units and operates based on quality and smarter solutions rather than harder work.
We are pleased to announce that effective February 1, 2021 COMMERCIAL CABINET SOLUTIONS is now a division of Obsidian Solution, LLC., and Dave and Nanette are part of the team!
Goodwin states, “we look forward to 2021, and whatever you might throw at us. With the addition of CCS we are now even better equipped to meet our reputation of referrals – if anybody can figure this out it is OBSIDIAN”.
