Concurrent Environmental Psychology: Name Your Office

The time has come for you to name your corporate office. Giving your workplace a name may sound bizarre, and the suggestion that you should do so may lead you to believe that the psychologist making it is finally having a pandemic melt down.  There are, however, strong psychological reasons for giving your office a name, whether that name is drawn from the location of your workplace, the name of a well-respected original employee, an organizationally meaningful cartoon character or series, or something else entirely. One of the few naming rules here is that whatever name you select should not be the name of your company.  It should also be easy to pronounce in all of the languages your employees will use to talk about the site and, similarly, not have an undesirable connotation to anyone you ever anticipate hearing it.
