Spotlight: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in 2019

Architecture, interior design, and furniture manufacturing have consistently served as leaders in corporate sustainability and corporate social responsibility. The nature of design calls us to be forward-thinkers and problem solvers, and it’s a natural fit for designers of all types to apply their training and expertise to the betterment of the environment and societies around them. In 2019, we see more and more company leaders devoting expanded resources to developing comprehensive CSR plans, particularly in design-related industries. As new generations join the workforce, they’ll continue to look for employers that have these plans, and an all-inclusive vision of a healthy environment and society, in place.
