Lesro Holding Prices Through 12/31/18 Despite Tariffs

On September 24th the US Trade Representative’s office imposed a 10% tariff on virtually all Chinese goods coming into the US. Like many US manufacturers, Lesro relies on a variety of component parts from all over the world for its domestic furniture production and is thus affected both directly and indirectly by these tariffs.

Although US businesses and consumers are starting to see surcharges and price increases as a result of these tariffs, Lesro will be holding its prices unchanged through the end of this year.

If no agreement between the US and China is reached, tariffs could increase from the current 10% to 25% starting on January 1st, 2019. It is our sincere hope that trade issues will be resolved before then, but should tariffs continue or increase in the new year we will reevaluate the situation.

Thank you for your patience as we collectively work through this situation.
