WallGoldfinger D.C. Rep Firm Expands

High-end custom furniture maker WallGoldfinger’s Washington, D.C., representative group, Design Products, Inc., has grown to include two new experienced members.

WallGoldfinger makes high quality, technology driven, custom furniture and reconfigurable product lines for the contract furniture market, including for the nation’s government and military leaders, Fortune 500 businesses and more across the nation and across the world. Operating out of a state-of-the-art factory in Randolph, Vt., the New England manufacturer has sales representatives across the country.

Alisa Lange

Design Products, based in Alexandria, Va., is a more than 50-year-old company and one of the oldest independent sales representative groups in the nation. Principal Alisa Lange joined the company in 1990 and purchased it in 2001. She has been representing WallGoldfinger since 2013.

In April, Design Products merged with The Rep Group, resulting in the addition of Julian McMichael and Mark Elledge as new partners to Lange.

The new company will retain the name of Design Products, Inc.

McMichael graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. He has since worked for a general contractor, at a furniture dealership and at an international design and architecture firm before starting his own manufacturers’ representative firm, The Rep Group, with Elledge in 2015.

Elledge has worked in the contract furniture market since 2008, first as a project manager for a furniture dealership and then in sales.

Lange is beyond excited to see the Design Products team grow with such experienced new members, she said.

“Julian and Mark bring not just experience but also excitement. They have tremendous furniture knowledge, know the industry and share the Design Products’ mission to provide educated, technical expertise to our clients,” Lange said. “They will certainly assist me in meeting the demand from our territory for the amazing lines we represent.”

Additional members of the Design Products team are associates Bob O’Neil and Shannon Lunney, who have both been with the company for many years.

“Alisa and her team have done an amazing job for us over the years. We also know there is potential to grow our sales in the D.C. market with a larger sales representative force to help meet demand,” said WallGoldfinger Chief Executive Officer John Wall. “We’re thrilled to welcome Julian and Mark and have their experience representing WallGoldfinger.”

“You can already feel the energy of this team. It will be exciting for all to see what the year ahead brings,” Wall added.
