IA Interior Architects Expands New York Team
IA Interior Architects (IA) is pleased to announce that Jung Kim, NCIDQ, LEED AP, IIDA, and Steven South, NCIDQ, LEED AP, IIDA, have joined the firm’s New York office.
Jung Kim, a senior designer, joins IA from Ted Moudis Associates. A practicing design professional for 20 years, Jung will manage the creative process on multiple projects. She brings vast experience, having worked across markets in the New York City area. Her work on the Gemological Institute of America project received the IFMA NYC Award of Excellence in 2015.
“Ideas and inspirations mold a project. They evolve throughout the job from working with the team- client, consultants and colleagues. I am lucky that I do what I love, and look forward to the synergy coming from working with such a talented group of people at IA,” said Jung.
Steven South, a senior designer, joins IA from HLW International. Steven is a seasoned designer with over 19 years of experience in the financial, healthcare, retail, and institutional industries. He is an active member of the design community and was previously President of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) New York Chapter. Steven regularly speaks at regional and national conferences and participates in professional organizations. He has also served as a professor for the New York School of Interior Design.
