IFMA Announces 2016-17 Executive Committee and Board of Directors

The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is pleased to introduce its 2016-17 board of directors and member-elected executive committee members. The beginning of IFMA’s 2016-17 fiscal year (July 1) marks the first day as chair for Maureen Ehrenberg, FRICS, CRE, who was elected by IFMA membership along with first vice chair William M. O’Neill, CFM, and second vice chair, Graham John Tier, CFM, FMP, MRICS. Members of the executive committee serve one-year terms.

IFMA also welcomes six new board members with a wide variety of international expertise and experience. In alphabetical order, they are: Peter Ankerstjerne, MBA, COP, FRICS; Keith A. Dias, P.E., CFM; Laurie A. Gilmer, P.E., CFM, SFP, LEED AP, CxA; Gordon Hicks, P.Eng., LEED AP; Louise Panneton; and Darrell D. Smith. IFMA board members serve two-year terms, although Panneton and Smith will both serve abbreviated one-year terms.

Current board members Diane Coles-Levine, MCR, and Wayne Harvey, CFM, SFP, LEED AP, will begin their second year on the board, while Lynn Baez, CFM, SFP, FMP, CBCP, has extended her term to serve for a third year.
