Schools Chosen to Exhibit at ICFF 2016

ICFF

Dozens of universities, colleges, art and technical schools from across the nation applied for the chance to exhibit during NYCxDESIGN week at ICFF®, being held May 14-17, 2016 in  New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The pool of submissions highlight the best from undergraduate and graduate student programs, and feature innovative, forward-thinking theories driving tomorrow’s design practices, and meeting today’s design challenges. But 13 submissions stood out from among the rest.

“The exhibitions chosen for this year’s ICFF Schools program showcase what’s new and what’s next from design futurists currently enrolled in the top design programs,” said Kevin O’Keefe, ICFF Event Director. “We are proud to welcome these esteemed institutions to exhibit at ICFF 2016.”

The following institutions were chosen to participate in the 2016 ICFF Schools program. Each school was chosen for its innovative and distinct studio portfolio theme:

Fashion Institute of Technology with: A Sense of Space…A Sense of Place

Kean University will present: Empathy + Aesthetics + Economy

Parsons School of Design with: How = What: Process and Experimentation

Pratt Institute will feature work from its Post Digital program

New Jersey Institute of Technology will address: The Contemporary 21st Century Lifestyle
