Interactive Weaving Event: Luum Textiles and Tick Studio To Celebrate New York Textile Month
To celebrate textile creativity and promote textile awareness, renowned contract textile manufacturer Luum and Tick Studio have opened their doors during 7th edition of New York Textile Month to invite for an interactive weaving event.
OnĀ Thursday, September 29, at 6 p.m. EST, Luum and Tick Studio will welcome curious minds to experience two hands-on weaving projects with Suzanne Tick, creative director at Luum Textiles, and Tick Studio designers. Suzanne and her team will be weaving on two types of looms using recycled Luum textiles and yarns made from recycled garment waste. Guests can watch and contribute to the weavings and learn about Tick Studioās approach to sustainable textile design, starting at the fiber level on the loom all the way through to the finished product.
This two-hour event will take place at Tick Studio and Luum Textiles, located atĀ 44 East 3rd Street, New York, NY 10003.
