Pioneering Design®: Hidden in Plain Sight
Hunting Down History in the Streets of New York with The Bowery Boys

The Bowery Boys Podcast, hosted by Tom Meyers and Greg Young, explores the extraordinary legacy of New York City. Over the years, the Bowery Boys has gained a loyal following all over the world, turning their audience on to this city’s unique heritage and charm— and helped define current conversations about its history and its future. Their podcast is one of the largest independently produced podcasts made in New York City. In 2017, Tom and Greg were honored with a special award from the New York City Mayor’s Office.

Please join the Bowery Boys for an enlightening, free-flowing oral history lesson of the Big Apple—uncovering layers of New York City’s rich past that we frequently take for granted.

“Hidden in Plain Sight: Hunting Down History on the Streets of New York” is created exclusively for the IIDA NY Pioneering Design® series.
