IFDA NY Chapter Rising Stars Event Nov. 15
The New York Chapter of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA NY) will hold its 10th annual “Rising Stars of Design” awards ceremony on Tuesday evening, November 15th at 200 Lexington Avenue in Manhattan. Cocktail reception begins at 5:30 p.m. at Duc Duc, Suite 715, followed by the presentations at The New Traditionalists, Suite 701, at 6:15 p.m.
Rio Hamilton, a luxury lifestyle industry insider and connector for 15 years with a robust social media presence and interior design training from UC Berkeley, will serve as MC and introduce
interior design honorees:
- Jenny Dina Kirschner of JDK Interiors
- Lindsay Boswell and Ali Levin of LABLstudio
- Lindsay Weiss and Noah Turkus of Weiss Turkus Projects
as well as the product design honoree Jessica Ahnert Davis, founder of Nest Studio LLC, a lifestyle firm specializing in boutique hardware and interior design. She is also the voice behind the Nest Studio blog, covering fashion, food, interiors and stylish living with young children.
Each designer will share their inspirations and path to beginning their business and will be awarded the IFDA NY 2016 Rising Star Award.
Prior to November 10th, cost per ticket is $25 for IFDA members and $45 for guests; after November 10th and at the door there will be an additional $15 added. Student IFDA member admission is free of charge and student guests fee is $10 with ID; after November 10th and at the door: student IFDA members: $10, student guests: $15.
