Humanscale Webinar Apr. 20: The Real Story on Our Oceans, Plastics, and Greenwashing

On Thursday, April 20 at 12:00PM EST, Humanscale will be hosting a webinar on ‘The Real Story on Our Oceans, Plastics, and Greenwashing’, featuring Jo Ruxton, marine conservationist and film producer, in conversation with Jane Abernethy, Humanscale’s Chief Sustainability Officer.

By now, we all know our oceans need our help. Unfortunately, the topic of ocean plastic is surrounded by misinformation, greenwashing, and impending doom-and-gloom. That’s why it’s high time to understand the real story of what’s happening and how we can affect positive change.

In this webinar, Jo Ruxton will be shedding light on the truths surrounding ocean plastic, why there is so much hope for ocean conservation, and how to combat “ecoanxiety” with ways to be part of the solution, not the problem. Following the 40–minute discussion, Humanscale’s Chief Sustainability Officer Jane Abernethy will be moderating a live 20–minute Q&A.
