Forty Five Ten Launches Exclusive Pop-Up Shop in Dallas Finished with Rockwell Unscripted

Knoll Rockwell Unscripted Collection and Apparatus Lighting available through December

Knoll, Inc., a constellation of design-driven brands and people, is excited to announce the debut of Rockwell Unscripted at Forty Five Ten’s luxury home store. Forty Five Ten has also partnered with Apparatus lighting.

Knoll and celebrated interior designer and architect David Rockwell collaborated on the collection of improvisational elements, which cultivate community and creativity, and foster interaction and mobility. Forty Five Ten is the only retailer to showcase the edited collection, which includes The Modular Lounge and pillows, Upholstered Seats, Cylinders and Bean Bag, Telly Screens, Puffy Screens, Occasional Tables, Tall Tables and Library Tables. All items are for sale and are available for special order in a variety of fabrics.

Commenting on the line, Barry Richards, Rockwell Group Principal and Studio Leader, said “The Rockwell Unscripted collection transforms homes into comfortable, modern environments with adaptable furniture in striking materials and finishes in tune with Dallas style.”

In conjunction with the pop-up, Forty Five Ten has teamed up with Apparatus Lighting, a New York based design studio, to create a series of chandeliers, sconces and lamps, which will be displayed throughout the store.

“I love the thoughtful designs in David Rockwell’s Unscripted collection. Simplicity of form follows function, yet is inspirational and invites curation and a personal narrative much like what we do here at Forty Five Ten.” says Rob Dailey, Forty Five Ten’s Home Creative Director. “We are also thrilled to have Apparatus pieces as part of the offering. The appeal of the innovative lighting designs is the uncommon use of common materials – a complete re-imagining of simple industrial shapes with a worldly and luxurious outcome.”

To celebrate the pop-up, Barry Richards and Rob Dailey will host an event at For Home Forty Five Ten on Thursday, November 16th from 6 to 8 p.m. To RSVP, please reply to RSVP@fortyfiveten.com.

The Pop-up will be located at For Home Forty Five Ten, 4510 McKinney Avenue, in Dallas. Items are available now through December.

About Forty Five Ten

Founded in 2000, Forty Five Ten was named after its original address on McKinney Avenue by Brian Bolke and the late Shelly Musselman. It quickly garnered an international reputation amongst designers and customers alike for its unique point of view on fashion and design. Boasting a world-class mix of the top collections for women, men, home and apothecary, the store was previously housed in an 8,000 square-foot building. Throughout the years, the store hosted designers and celebrities among the likes of Narciso Rodriguez, Victoria Beckham, Jeremy Scott, Cindy Crawford, Derek Lam, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez (Proenza Schouler), Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren (Viktor & Rolf), and clients Erykah Badu, Rihanna and Steven Tyler. In addition to the recent opening of Forty Five Ten on Main, a flagship location in downtown Dallas with owner Headington Companies, the original McKinney Avenue location transformed into a home furnishings concept, For Home Forty Five Ten, in March 2017.

The brand also launched a spin-off concept, TTH Forty Five Ten, in August 2016 in the famed Highland Park Village shopping center. The 650 square-foot boutique represents an edited selection of emerging designers curated by Vice President Creative/Women’s Fashion Director Taylor Tomasi Hill, the full assortment of which is available at the flagship Forty Five Ten on Main. On the heels of these Dallas openings is the brand’s first regional expansion of a 3,300 square-foot boutique, which opened in November 2016 in the thriving River Oaks District in Houston. In 2017, Forty Five Ten opened their first retail store outside of Texas in Napa Valley, California.
