Configura to Exhibit at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair with Augmented Reality and Special IIDA Presentation
Configura, maker of CET Designer software, exhibits at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair this Feb. 6-10 with brand-new augmented reality technology and sponsorship of a special presentation featuring International Interior Design Association EVP & CEO Cheryl Durst, Hon. FIIDA, LEED AP. This is Configura’s second year in a row exhibiting at the show known as the world’s leading meeting place for Scandinavian design.
“The Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair is one of Europe’s most important design exhibitions, and it’s right here in our native Sweden. We have many customers that both attend and exhibit at the fair, so it’s important for us to reinforce our brand and meet them here,” Configura CEO Johan Lyreborn said.
Configura exhibits augmented reality (AR) technology
Through a partnership with Praxik, maker of mixed-reality solutions, Configura will demo new AR technology at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair. Praxik has developed a CET Designer Extension, “InstantAR,” that lets CET Designer users “project” their designs into a client’s space using a phone or tablet device.
The InstantAR Extension officially launches on Feb. 15. View a demo online at https://www.praxik.com/instant-ar and experience it in person at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair in Booth AG:28.

About CET Designer
Based on technology created by Configura, CET Designer is intelligent, highly visual and intuitive space-planning software that simplifies specifying and selling of products in a variety of industries. It’s a complete solution that quickly and accurately handles every step of the sales and order process. In CET Designer, components that represent manufacturers’ products look and behave like actual products. Users drag and drop components into 2D and 3D virtual environments; behind the scenes, the software tracks components, calculates pricing and prevents user errors. Users can create and generate layouts, quotes, photorealistic renderings, movies, installation drawings, reconfigurations and bills of materials – in other words, everything needed to propose on work and place orders. CET Designer is the future of space planning. More information at www.configura.com/cet.
