Be Original Americas will sponsor a talk with Giovanna Castiglioni during WantedDesign Manhattan in the Conversation Lounge on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2pm. Giovanna Castiglioni, a daughter of the eminent Italian designer Achille Castiglioni and a leader of the foundation in Milan dedicated to his work, will talk about her father’s gift for originality, as demonstrated by iconic lighting products like the Arco lamp, and his decades-long battle against plagiarists. Joining her in conversation is Julie Lasky, design journalist and critic. Lasky moderated the organization’s first panel discussion and is a champion of original design in journalism.
