Making Technology and Design Work Together: Ideas to Grow Your Business Using Technology Solutions

Join us for short presentations and a panel discussion where you’ll learn solutions that will help you guide your clients on how to integrate the ever-increasing demands of incorporating technology into design schemes and client lifestyles.

This session will cover:

Great design is all about attention to detail. Traditionally, designers have faced challenges in finding practical and repeatable solutions for blending and integrating technology and electronics into their design schemes. Come learn from an esteemed group of industry experts, and participate in our panel discussion, where we will explore how everything from lighting control to remote access to TV concealment systems are being used today. Your clients want to know how they can have these systems in their homes, and designers need to understand what is involved in the specification and installation process for the most current electronics systems.

Our five expert panelists include:

-Matt Miller, Lutron Electronics
As the recognized gold standard in lighting control and motorized shading control, Lutron provides and infinite range of options for control of all the light in a room, with sophisticated and integrated options for the seamless control of electronic light and natural light.

-Jay Lazzaro, Dana Innovations
Best known for their Sonance brand of speakers, they can legitimately lay claim to being the inventor of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers, the very first step in recognizing the importance of creating harmony between great quality sound and the need to blend with a design scheme.

-David Cesar, Savant Home Systems
As a leading manufacturer of sophisticated home automation systems, Savant can provide solutions for lighting and climate control, entertainment and security control, all from the touch of a single app. This level of control can be highly personalized, to fit the very specific needs and wants of any given customer.

-Kevin Hancock, Frame My TV
Technology doesn’t have to be ugly! The giant TV no longer has to be the elephant in the room. As the largest manufacturer of after-market flat-panel-concealment products, Frame My TV can offer numerous options to soften the look of a TV in the room, from something as simple as a gallery quality frame, to a sophisticated retractable artwork system.

-Keegan Coulter, Seura
As a specialist in a specialty field, Seura manufactures an extensive line of unique TVs, all of which have intended benefits for the design centric homeowner. Whether it’s a TV built into a mirror for the master bedroom, or a waterproof TV that can be installed in a shower, Seura totally defines the category for special application TVs.
