Art Swagger Returns to Downtown Los Angeles Oct. 5

Art Swagger, the architecture and design industry’s annual art walk and fundraiser to benefit Free Arts, returns to Downtown Los Angeles on October 5, 2017. Art Swagger’s participating and supporting firms transform their offices and showrooms into pop-up art galleries, showcasing the work of distinctive professional artists over cocktails, appetizers, and inspiring artworks. Event participants tour unique stops within the downtown core along the Art Swagger walking tour. This year’s finale party takes place at the City National Plaza, generously made available by Commonwealth. Event ticket sales, raffle items and silent auction proceeds all benefit Free Arts.

Free Arts is a Los Angeles-area non-profit that inspires hope in abused, homeless, and impoverished children through creative, stimulating arts programs. Founded in 1977, the organization serves over 25,000 children annually through programs offered across Los Angeles. Art Swagger draws 400+ industry professionals touring multiple downtown Architecture + Design firms in a single evening to view professional artists’ works on display and raise funds for Free Arts and the children they serve.

“We are so fortunate and grateful to be the beneficiary of Art Swagger L.A. We are honored to partner with this brilliant, hardworking and philanthropic group of industry leaders to transform the lives of at-risk children in Los Angeles,” said Joan Ford, CEO of Free Arts. “Too many of our county’s children face unimaginable obstacles and trauma. With Art Swagger’s generous support, Free Arts can continue to leverage the healing power of art to transform the lives of abused, neglected, homeless and impoverished children and put them on the path to a better life. .”
