Around the world, people are looking critically at institutions and demanding more from themselves and others. Citizens and professionals alike are challenging the status quo. There is need for redefinition of long-held traditions and seeking out of alternative methodologies and solutions. As problem-solvers trained in the art of synthesis, designers are uniquely positioned to identify creative, unexpected and timely solutions. Designers have the capacity to identify how to unite people across disciplines, nations and continents in the search for improved life quality and global progress.
IFI, in partnership with Interior Designers Association of Nigeria (IDAN), will bring together creatives and design professionals from all corners of the globe to explore the power and potential of design at the 2017 IFI CONGRESS, African Culture & Design Festival and XXVIII (28th) General Assembly – GA (2017 IFI CON/FEST/GA) in Nigeria. These international events will take place from 9 to 12 November 2017 at the Eko Convention Center in Lagos, one of Africa’s most rapidly growing creative cities.
