WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff Announces Senior-Level Promotions

WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global engineering and professional services organization, recently announced the appointment of several employees to senior vice president and vice president positions in its U.S. buildings practice, effective January 1, 2017.

“These professionals exemplify the leadership capabilities, technical expertise and commitment to excellence on which our firm and our clients rely,” said David Cooper, president of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s U.S. buildings sector and the region’s chief commercial officer.

Danna Jensen

Newly appointed to the position of senior vice president, building systems, is Danna Jensen, a 16-year employee of the firm who, for the last two years, has managed 30 staff members in the Dallas office. Broadly recognized as one of the firm’s most talented electrical engineers, she served as principal in charge leading design teams on projects including the Emory University Hospital J-Wing Expansion, the Baylor Waxahachie Hospital and The Heart Hospital of Baylor Plano Expansion.

The firm also appointed four new vice presidents:

  • Nathan Boepple, who has been involved in a wide variety of projects in the Dallas office throughout the design and construction phases since he joined the firm in 2005. He recently relocated to Orlando to start a new office for the firm. He has contributed to projects including the MD Anderson Pavilion expansion and the Lee Memorial Gulf Coast Medical Center.
  • Lilian Fu, who has managed the San Francisco lighting group since joining the firm in 2015. She has contributed to projects including LightRail on Market Street, Treasure Island Stage 2, and Transbay Transit Center.
  • Jonathan Grant, who has engineered healthcare, corporate and residential projects for the Denver office since joining the firm in2013. He has contributed to projects including the Swedish Medical Center Neuro Expansion and Renovation, Colorado Health Foundation Corporate Headquarters, and Colorado Center Residential Tower and Mixed-use Office Tower.
  • Rob Hicks, vice president, has led the fire protection and life safety team in Houston since 2015. He has contributed to projects including the Covenant West Tower Expansion, Texas Children’s Hospital Pediatric Tower E Vertical Expansion and UTMDACC Zayed Lab Buildout.
  • Tom Stella, vice president, joined the firm’s Boston office in 2004. Following many successful years there, Tom has now moved to our San Francisco office to bring his expertise to the west coast and lead the mechanical department. He has contributed to projects included renovations to terminals B, C and E at Boston’s Logan Airport; and the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
