As part of Wolf-Gordon’s ongoing celebration of 25 years of design partnerships, the surface design company has reintroduced four of its most popular patterns: Flower by Tsao & McKown, Soft Spots by Grethe Sørensen, Tall by Morgan Bajardi, and Jaipur by Boym Partners. Originally released between 2012 and 2016, Wolf-Gordon worked closely with each of the artists to ensure their unique design philosophies and creative visions were faithfully translated into wallcoverings. The reintroductions celebrate Wolf-Gordon’s legacy of collaboration and innovation while reaffirming the company’s commitment to human-led, inventive surface design.
Flower by Tsao & McKown features an architectural element being manipulated to resemble a single curvilinear construct of a flower, folding and unfolding continuously.
Soft Spots by Grethe Sørensen utilizes advanced digital capabilities to translate photographic pixels into a dreamlike wallcovering representing a profound exploration of light and the photographic process.
Tall by Morgan Bajardi uses continuous line striation in this “push and pull” pattern that creates the illusion of a taller wall.
Jaipur by Boym Partners invokes the artisan crafts of India and the mysticism of Hindu imagery, inspired by the intricate wood-block printing often used for sari textiles.
