Here’s a great story of a teacher and student becoming design equals. French designers Rémi Bouhaniche and Eric Jourdan, once student and teacher, respectively, are now both creating for Ligne Roset and each launching a new desk.
Alando, designed by Eric Jourdan, is the perfect desk for hospitality settings or your home office. The sweeping midnight blue tubing and dark walnut finish projects modernism and dynamism. The tubing is meant to represent a picture frame, encapsulating the walnut desktop.
Dreamt upat the height of the pandemic, the Briord Desk is made for the new home office. Designed by Rémi Bouhaniche, this new desk’s surface is the shape of Ligne Roset’s factory in Briord, France, from an aerial view. Its slightly skewed lines pay homage to the asymmetrical lines found in nature.
The Alando desk by Jourdan and Briord desk by Bouhaniche are now available at Ligne Roset stores.
