Ware Malcomb Promotes Three Female Leaders in Irvine Office
Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced that Jinger Tapia has been promoted to Vice President, Design; Maureen Bissonnette has been promoted to Principal, Marketing; and Maria Rodgers has been promoted to PR & Communications Manager, all in the firm’s Irvine, California office.
Jinger Tapia began her architectural career at Ware Malcomb in 1996 and re-joined in 2002. During her 20+ year tenure, her vision has helped define Ware Malcomb’s standards of high quality, creativity and futureproofing to ensure long-term real estate value for clients. With her leadership team, Tapia leads architectural design for Ware Malcomb and oversees the Branding Studio. A licensed architect, Tapia is active in the Urban Land Institute, the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) and other industry organizations. She is also a member of Ware Malcomb’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

Maureen Bissonnette joined Ware Malcomb 1998 as a marketing assistant. As Principal, Marketing she oversees all marketing-related functions for Ware Malcomb, including marketing strategy, media & public relations, communications, branding and marketing technologies. Over the past 24 years, she has built a talented, award-winning team which now includes over 20 marketing, communications and graphic design professionals.
While at Ware Malcomb, Bissonette earned her MBA from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management. She has been a speaker at several Ware Malcomb and industry events, including events hosted by the Society for Marketing Professional Services and California State University, Fullerton. In addition, she is a member of Ware Malcomb’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee.

Maria Rodgers, in her new role as PR & communications Manager, will focus on expanding the firm’s media and communications programs and increasing exposure for the firm across all Ware Malcomb markets. Rodgers joined Ware Malcomb in 2014 as Marketing Coordinator and in 2018, she took on responsibility for the firm’s public relations program, and, since then, has secured a record number of media mentions for Ware Malcomb across the Americas. She has managed significant communications initiatives for the firm, including PR strategy, thought leadership, media relations, social media, digital marketing and design awards/rankings. Rodgers earned her MBA from California State University, San Marcos and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
