We are excited to welcome Zackery Belanger to this very unique and informational learning event. Zackery , an acoustician from Detroit, is a designer, researcher, consultant and artist whose work is centered on the acoustic performance of architecture. He is an expert in his field, and founder of acoustic design firm, Arcgeometer.
Attendees will be able to share problems and concerns that they have encountered during challenging acoustical projects, past, present and future, where acoustical solutions seemed to turn into a mystery of what works, what doesn’t, and why not? Please bring your questions and experiences with you to share at the event, and Zackery will address and discuss them as time permits.
The CEU will be held in a new cafe space where Studio by 3form and 3form installed acoustical products. Appetizers and drinks will be provided.
This CEU is approved for 1 hour IIDA credit, and 1 hour AIA LU for HSW.
Full Presenter Bio: Zackery Belanger is a designer, consultant, and researcher whose work is centered on the acoustic performance of architecture. He holds a B.S. degree in Physics, and M.S. degree in Physics from Oakland University and M. S. degree in Architectural Sciences, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. From 2002 – 2010 he worked for Chicago-based acousticians, Kirkegaard Associates, developing acoustic materials and systems for various sized projects. In 2013 he was the inaugural Researcher-in-Residence at the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center [EMPAC] in Troy, NY, where he began development of a new framework for the design and assessment of acoustic architecture. He has received grants from the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts and the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, most recently for “Acoustic Deconstruction of 2626 Bancroft Way” – a study of the acoustic soul of a Brutalist masterpiece. He is the founder of the Detroit-based studio Arcgeometer.

Presenter: Nathan Jeske
Nathan Jeske has been with KI since 2003, serving as a field rep, customer service representative and for the majority of his time with KI as a Product Marketing Manager. He has held this role for the past 9 years and currently oversees Tables and Desking for KI.
Nathan has been responsible for numerous product introduction at KI some of the most notable would be adding 2 addition adjustable table collections (Toggle and WorkUp) and the most recent addition of the Pirouette table collection which is the fastest growing table that KI has ever introduced.
Nathan currently lives in Green Bay, WI and works for KI out of their corporate headquarters also in the Green Bay area.
