Industry Leader, Sergio Prosperino, Will Leverage His Expertise in Sales, Marketing, and Brand Leadership to Support the Association for Contract Textiles’ Mission
Ultrafabrics, a global leader in high-performance coated fabrics and leather alternatives, is honored to announce that Sergio Prosperino, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Brand, has been appointed by the Association for Contract Textiles (ACT) 2025 Nominating Committee to serve as an Industry Partner on the ACT Board of Directors.
As an Industry Partner, Prosperino will work alongside fellow board members to help shape the future of contract textiles, support the development of meaningful performance standards, and ensure the industry continues to evolve in response to the needs of today’s commercial environments. Prosperino’s appointment was approved by a vote of the ACT Principal Members and officially commenced during the association’s annual membership meeting at NeoCon 2025 in Chicago. He joins a ten-member board that includes six Principal Members, one Associate Member, two Industry Partners, and one Industry Individual.
“We are excited to have Sergio on the ACT board,” says Lynne Willis, Executive Director of ACT. “His years of experience with coated fabrics and industry knowledge will be a great asset to the association in the coming years as we tackle ongoing and emerging challenges.”
With more than three decades of experience leading sales, marketing, and brand strategy for global lifestyle and performance brands, Prosperino brings a strategic and well-rounded perspective to the board. He joined Ultrafabrics in 2019 and was appointed to the company’s Board of Directors in 2022 after delivering record revenue. In April 2025, he assumed his current position overseeing marketing and brand development, while continuing to lead global sales efforts across the commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, marine, and RV markets.
“I’m honored to represent Ultrafabrics on the Association for Contract Textiles Board and collaborate with fellow industry leaders to help amplify our collective voice,” says Prosperino. “ACT plays a critical role in setting standards and advancing best practices that shape every aspect of the contract textiles industry. At Ultrafabrics, we’re deeply committed to innovation, performance, and sustainability, and I’m excited to bring that perspective to the board.”
Previously, Prosperino held senior leadership roles at FitFlop, Cole Haan, and Jones Group, where he managed large-scale omnichannel businesses and helped launch and expand new categories across major retailers, including Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue. He is known for aligning cross-functional teams, scaling growth across multiple sectors, and integrating brand, product, and sales strategy to deliver long-term impact. Prosperino holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham University and a BBA in Finance with a concentration in Economics from Pace University.
Prosperino’s appointment underscores Ultrafabrics’ continued commitment to advancing the contract textiles industry through leadership, innovation, and collaboration. As the industry evolves to meet new demands and design challenges, his contributions on the ACT Board will help shape a more dynamic and forward-thinking future for commercial interiors.
