Two New Designs from 3form

Lina
Kathali

Kathali and Lina, part of 3form’s Full Circle program, were developed together with artisans in the region using repurposed materials from the rebuilding efforts in Nepal. The two interlayers are handcrafted and designed in Nepal adding a special human element to the product.

Lina

Lina, named after the Nepalese word stick, is a patter of bamboo dowels that are hand dipped and prepared in Nepal. The dowels are then sent to the US to finish the interlayer. These skillful bamboo artisans live near where the epicenter of the last earthquake and are well known for their craftsmanship with the bamboo material.

Kathali

Named after the Nepalese word for wooden, Kathali is characterized by wood shavings from rebuilding the Nepalese homes after the earthquake. These wood shavings are arranged in a harmonious pattern and stained with three natural palettes.

The Full Circle initiative is designed to give back to communities and promote craftsman on a global level. This collection was created to bring business opportunity and humanitarian support to the region as it struggles to recover from the devastating earthquake of 2015.
