Turf President Rob Perri Promoted to Vice President, Architectural Specialties – Brand Companies at Armstrong World Industries

Perri’s role expands to oversee Turf, Arktura and future acquisitions

Turf Design Inc, the Chicago-based acoustic solutions company operating at the intersection of art, architecture, and technology, announces President Rob Perri has been promoted to vice president, architectural specialties – brand companies at Turf’s parent company Armstrong World Industries, Inc. effective Jan. 1, 2024.

Perri will continue to serve as the president of Turf while also taking on a larger role within Armstrong. He will lead Architectural Specialties companies in the Armstrong family of brands that maintain their individual identities including architectural systems manufacturer Arktura, and other new acquisitions. In this role, he will work with the brand companies’ management teams to set strategy, accelerate growth and identify additional opportunities to leverage Armstrong Architectural Specialties (AS) resources to meet the company’s overall strategic, operational and financial objectives.

Perri brings more than 20 years of experience to his new role, with a strong background in product innovation, global strategy and manufacturing. Since joining Turf in 2018, Perri has driven revenue growth of over 400%, with the goal of consistently delivering 20% year-over-year growth. Perri will continue to operate as the president of Turf while taking on this new role.

During his time in each role, he delivered growth through product innovation, R&D and new business development.
