TPG Architecture Hires New Creative Director

Leading international architecture and design firm TPG Architecture has hired industry veteran Avery Miyasato Handy as Creative Director, a strategic move as the company continues to expand its portfolio and presence in the industry.

Avery joins TPG Architecture at an exciting time — the firm recently expanded its portfolio into new market sectors including hospitality, and just named four key leaders Managing Executives. As Creative Director, Avery will oversee the execution of workplace projects – from conception to completion.

Avery comes to TPG Architecture with over 20 years of experience in the architecture and design industry. He has served as lead Project Designer and Design Director for a wide array of project types — from small projects to complex properties, many of which have been honored by the industry’s top awards programs in the corporate, retail, and hospitality arenas. Avery has worked with clients including NBCU, Esteé Lauder, AIG, AOL, KMPG, Dorsey Whitney, Sports Illustrated, Time Warner Cable, Citi Field, and a host of boutique financial clients. Additionally, he has served as a judge for IIDA’s Asia Pacific Design Awards.
