Thos. Moser Appoints Former Bristol Seafood Co-Founder Darrell Pardy as VP & COO

Darrell Pardy

Thos. Moser, maker of handcrafted American furniture, announced today that former Bristol Seafood Co-Founder Darrell Pardy has become the company’s Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Thos. Moser President and CEO Aaron Moser (son of founders Thomas and Mary Moser), made the announcement to employees on Friday, June 1, at the company’s Auburn headquarters.

“Darrell comes to our organization with over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience, and some extraordinary successes,” said Moser. “I am excited about this transition because it means the succession of my family’s business is in extremely good hands. With Darrell at my side, I will be free to explore and develop better external partnerships with customers, vendors, and local businesses,” noted Moser.

Pardy is no stranger to the Maine business landscape. He co-founded Bristol Seafood LLC in 1992 and before selling the company in 2016, he grew it into one of the largest seafood processors in Maine, with 75 employees and $40 million in annual sales.

Aaron Moser noted that Pardy, who has been CFO at Thos. Moser for the last nine months, will immediately assume overarching responsibilities for the operations of the business, and will focus on identifying areas for improvement and gains in efficiency.

Pardy, a resident of Brunswick and an active member of Portland’s theater and arts community, said his interest in Moser is multifaceted. “I am honored to be taking on an expanded role for the iconic Moser brand and to work with a family and community that I deeply admire and respect,” said Pardy.

The addition of Pardy to the Moser leadership team compliments the recent hire of Adam Policky as Director of Sales & Marketing, and Ted W.B. Regan, as Director of Business Development & Client Relationships.
