The Magic of Móz Metals for 30 Years
30 years ago, two brothers started a metal shop named Móz out of a barn in Berkeley, California. Today, Móz operates out of a 30,000 square foot facility producing high quality architectural metal products that are shipped all over the world. Móz has grown into being the number one resource for metal innovation with years of collaborations with talented partners and clients to achieve beautiful designs and spaces.
Móz recently celebrated their 30 year success in Berkeley, California, right where the company was born three decades ago. The evening was full of lively celebrations honoring the long standing team members at Móz. The guest of honor for the night was Rob Taylor with Genesco, who has remained one of their most loyal customers for over 15 years. Several Móz employees were honored for their outstanding commitment to the company over the years: Ernie Ngo for 27 years of service, along with Steve Jara and Linda Gutierrez for 20 years at Móz. Heriberto Gutierrez, Jun Gasgonia, Luis Aguilar, Noe Colocho, and Monica Woods were also recognized for their dedication and support to Móz for 15 years or more. Over one-third of the company has been employed for over 10 years as well as over half have been employed for over 5 years. “This speaks to what we stand for as a company along with the team’s commitment and dedication being pivitale to what Móz is today.” – Director of Sales & Marketing, Linda Gutierrez.
