Elegant, Customizable, and Technologically Adept, Figure Supports Small to Large-Scale Meeting Spaces With Refined Woodcraft and Integrated Connectivity
Teknion, a global leader in workplace furniture and design, is proud to announce the launch of Figure, a versatile new collection of meeting tables and storage solutions designed to bring warmth, elegance, and functionality to workplace environments. Developed in collaboration with designer Alyssa Coletti of Nonfiction Creative, Figure blends Teknion’s expertise in craftsmanship with a deep respect for wood, delivering a collection that scales seamlessly across small, medium, and large meeting rooms.
At the heart of Figure is a celebration of wood. Each piece embodies the company’s expertise, now available through standard order to meet growing demand for custom wood elements with refined, tailored touches. Figure tables come in rectangular, square, and round formats. They are available with a range of beautifully detailed edge and base styles, including Butter Knife, Bullnose Cove, Bullnose Flat, and Half Bullnose edge styles, and Open, Panel, or Enclosed V-Legs, Hexa or Softened Panel Bases, and Gable Leg Flat base styles. These options allow for a high level of personalization and combinations tailored to each space. Achieving the collection’s authentic, crafted look requires meticulous attention to wood grain and joinery, while tables specified as ‘base only’ accommodate natural stone tops sourced externally if desired.

“A hallmark of my design philosophy is to create products that transcend trends while offering extensive customization, and with Figure, that philosophy comes to life in the details,” said Alyssa Coletti. “All forms and surfaces of Figure are designed to comfortably draw people together. The diagonal elements directionally pull everyone to the table. The gentle curve of the rounded corners and the inward scoop of the cove edge are soft, yet structured, encouraging tactile interaction. My intent was to design a collection that is warm and welcoming, while still feeling like the central focus of an important and ordered space.”
Technology is seamlessly integrated throughout the Figure collection. Multiple power options—including surface, USB edge, undermount, and integrated edge power—ensure devices remain charged and connected. Thoughtful wire management through trough systems and central supports keeps surfaces clean and clutter-free, even in larger conference rooms. Figure also includes sideboards and storage solutions designed to complement the tables. Available in various heights and widths, each sideboard features signature integrated pulls and ADA-compliant handles. Crafted cove top inlays can be finished in wood, backpainted glass, or solid surface. Storage units accommodate AV equipment, mini-fridges, and include integrated waste and recycling bins, all with discreet ventilation and cable management for a seamless, refined aesthetic.
“Figure speaks to two powerful shifts we’re seeing in the workplace today: a renewed appreciation for craft and a demand for integrated technology,” noted Brendan Rooney, Category Manager, Wood Casegoods at Teknion. “Clients are looking for furniture that feels substantial and intentional, not disposable. They want authentic materials and details that say something about their company culture and values. At the same time, they expect technology to be built in, and to support collaboration without getting in the way. Figure answers both of those needs in a way that’s inviting, functional, and forward-looking.”
Built to scale in dimensions, features, and price, Figure provides a comprehensive solution for meeting spaces while maintaining the warmth and tactile quality of wood. Phase two of the collection will expand the line with additional leg styles, credenzas, podiums, and lecterns, extending Figure’s refined craftsmanship throughout the workplace.
