Tangram Studio Initiates Nationwide Expansion with High-Visibility Engagements Across the Country

Murad – El Segundo, CA
Alexandria Real Estate – San Diego, CA
Confidential Client – Los Angeles, CA

Tangram Studio, a division of Tangram Interiors and a leading creator of innovative, custom workplace solutions, is expanding its passion for developing efficient and effective workplaces nationwide with several significant engagements booked or underway across the country.

Based on highly successful projects in the Southern California region, Tangram Studio has established itself as a leading custom furniture provider. Flagship projects in Los Angeles, for example, have included the Beverly Hills headquarters of Live Nation Worldwide in the redesigned Ice House; the Murad headquarters in El Segundo; and the offices of Saatchi & Saatchi.

Throughout these and other engagements, Tangram Studio works with each client to meld a distinctive culture with the design of the workspace through collaborative input and planning, conceptualization and mockups, engineering, manufacturing and installation for a single-source partner from start to finish, on budget and on schedule.

“Organizations can take two different paths when formulating their workspaces. One is the path designed for the masses. The other is the path that is created for them and is unique to their vision,” said Tangram Studio Creative Director Charlotte Wiederholt. “Our ultimate goal is to create unique, well-designed and appropriate workspaces for our clients. We also take pride in implementing these often complex projects within budget parameters while resourcefully overcoming any challenges that may arise.”

The regional success of Tangram Studios has led to several high-profile new projects, some of which are outgrowths of those accomplishments:

Juno Therapeutics (Seattle). First large-scale collaboration between the Tangram Studio and Technology divisions with 600 workstations, a private office and conference rooms.

Procore (Portland, Austin). From 245-workstation project at headquarters in Carpinteria, Calif., expanding to additional locations with 93 workstations in Austin and 66 in Portland.

Saatchi & Saatchi (Dallas). Creation of a unique design for two groups, Team One and Saatchi & Saatchi, encompassing nearly 150 workstations.

Ticketmaster (Phoenix). Working in tandem with the president and director of real estate to create a national standard that can be replicated across the country.

Fuse Media (New York). Custom meeting and kitchen tables and office storage units.

Live Nation (New York, Toronto). Building on successful redesign of Beverly Hills headquarters, now redesigning New York and Toronto offices.

The possibilities are unlimited when Tangram Studio is involved, and the end result is a one-of-a-kind environment that the end user has helped bring to life. Tangram Studio helps clients create solutions tailored specifically for their company. Whether the priority is on aesthetics, functionality or branding, each installation is unique to the company’s culture, people and mission.

Tangram Studio is a division of Tangram Interiors which operates five business units that complement its core furniture offering: flooring, fabrication, custom furniture, move management and technology.
