After garnering industry accolades at NeoCon earlier this month, Shaw Contract has officially released Cult Classics carpet tile and broadloom, part of the expansive layered flooring collection inspired by iconic design influences of the past, reinterpreted through a modern lens.
The first release from the collection is an 18″ x 36″ format alongside coordinating broadloom, expanding the ways designers can bring the collectionâs distinctive character into commercial environments.
Designed to transcend trends, Cult Classics balances familiarity with intrigue, offering sophisticated patterns, rich texture, and emotional resonance across a complete flooring system. The collection is rooted in nostalgia and designed for spaces we will want to return to again and again, drawing inspiration from archival patterns and handcrafted textures, refined into designs that feel both unique and timeless.

Carpet Tile: A New Classic to Explore
The Cult Classics 18 x 36 carpet tile is the cornerstone of the collection: designed for commercial interiors that encourage genuine connection, community and culture. The 18×36 modular format provides flexibility for designers to create scale, zoning, and to compose spaces with greater visual freedom.
Available in three stylesâFirst Edition, Reissue and Remasterâ are offered in a curated, neutral-forward palette that balance warm and cool hues across twelve colorways and is designed for easy coordination across formats and applications. Multi-directional patterning reduces installation complexity, minimizes waste, and simplifies long-term maintenance.
Constructed with solution-dyed EcoSolution QÂź 100 nylon fiber on EcoWorxÂź BIO backing, Cult Classics Carpet Tiles are carbon neutral, optimized for low embodied carbon and engineered for high-traffic commercial environments. The collection carries Green Label Plus certification, and Living Building Challenge Red List Approval, with Health Product Declaration and Environmental Product Declaration available. Cult Classics Carpet Tiles are supported by Shaw Contractâs re[TURN] Reclamation Program for end-of-life circularity and backed by the same lifetime commercial limited warranty as any Shaw Contract EcoWorx carpet tile product.
Broadloom: Seamless Expression at Scale
Complementing the modular tile, Cult Classics broadloom â Offbeat and Grid Line -extends the collectionâs visual identity into wall-to-wall applications, ideal for a variety of environments where seamless, continuous surfaces are preferred. Coordinating styles and colorways ensure effortless transitions between formats and a cohesive design language within a single project or across a portfolio.
Tufted from EcoSoultion Q solution-dyed nylon fiber, these broadloom offerings deliver refined texture, color retention, soil resistance and acoustic comfort: performance characteristics suited to high-use spaces. The collection holds Green Label Plus certifications, with solution-dyed construction reducing water and energy consumption relative to conventional dyeing processes.
Cult Classics is designed as a complete flooring ecosystem. In addition to carpet tile and broadloom, the collection includes custom rug options, allowing designers to translate core patterns into bespoke, made-to-order applications scaled and recolored for specific project needs. Coordinating LVT and porcelain styles will soon be available as well.
