Scott Foster Joins NWH

Scott FosterJohn “Ozzie” Nelson Jr., Chairman & CEO of NWH and its trio of A/E/C Brands, NELSON, Brinjac Engineering, and RipBang Studios, has announced effective January 1, 2016, Scott Foster will join the organization as Chief Operating Officer.

“I believe Scott is distinctively qualified to assume the role of COO for NWH,” said Ozzie Nelson Jr. “In addition to Scott’s extensive experience in the A/E/C industry, I’ve always respected his energy, vision, and the capabilities he will bring to the table.”

The addition of Scott to NWH coincides with the dynamic growth of the organization in 2015. Experiencing more than 60% growth, the organization was ranked on the Zweig Group’s “Hot Firm” list, and design brand NELSON broke into the top ten on the Interior Design Magazine Design Giants list.

Foster brings more than 20 years of experience in architecture, management consulting, and corporate infrastructure management. He holds a Master of Business Administration and Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He has a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University.

Scott began his career with HOK in New York City before joining international management consulting firm Booz, Allen, Hamilton where he ascended to the role of Senior Associate. Most recently, he spent 10 years with Bank of America’s corporate real estate organization, working his way up to Governance & Operations Executive of the group. Scott is active in CoreNet Global, and is currently serving as Faculty for the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation program, and is on the editorial board of the UK-based Corporate Real Estate Journal. Foster currently resides in Charlotte, N.C. with his wife and two sons, where he sits on the Board of Directors of Charlotte Rescue Mission.
