Room & Board/Room & Board for Business has released its 2025 Impact Report, highlighting major progress across sustainability, product innovation, employee ownership and community engagement.

Key 2025 Highlights Outlined in the Report Include:

B Corp Recertification: Room & Board significantly increased its B Corp score from 80.6 to 112.7, driven in part by its transition to a 100% employee-owned company in 2024.

Sustainable Product Innovation: The company introduced Renew, its first 99% bio-based chair, and expanded the use of recycled, reclaimed and bio-based materials across product lines.

Packaging Progress: Achieved 82% recyclable packaging, with a new goal of reaching 90% by 2030.

Urban Wood Project: Diverted the equivalent of 365 trees from the waste stream through reclaimed wood initiatives.

Renewable Energy: Increased renewable electricity use to 68% and continued progress toward a goal of 100% by 2030.

Waste Reduction: Diverted 87.8% of operational waste from landfills and implemented plastic recycling across all delivery centers.

Sustainable Sourcing: Achieved 100% sustainably sourced wood from North American forests and certified sources by the end of 2025.
