Roche Bobois Celebrates Harmony House Shelter for Victims of Domestic Abuse
It was ‘A Time to Celebrate’ Mary Rubloff YWCA Harmony House with Palm Beach Illustrated Magazine and Roche Bobois Paris.
Everyone had a wonderful time as Roche Bobois Paris, a world leader in the design and distribution of high-end home furnishings, and Palm Beach Illustrated magazine, the flagship publication of Palm Beach Media Group, hosted a gala celebration in Roche Bobois’ North Palm Beach showroom. “A Time to Celebrate” was the theme of the November 4th evening as guests enjoyed a lavish reception while raising awareness of Harmony House for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. The event was part of Roche Bobois’ ongoing support of the Palm Beach County facility.
Inspiring the “time” theme of the event was Roche Bobois’ renowned Astrolab dining table with its glistening, motorized wheels and gears, reminiscent of a watch mechanism, that turn beneath the glass table top as remote controlled table leaves at either end extend and retract. Atop two Astrolabs, in keeping with the theme, was a spectacular display of exquisite timepieces from the Worth Avenue and Palm Beach Gardens locations of The Watch Salon at Hamilton Jewelers. Sommelier Jack Cohen’s Wine Frolics brought savoir faire and expertise to champagne tastings throughout evening, all underscored by delicacies from West Palm Beach caterer Christafaros and the musical stylings of Will Bridges.
“The people, the fashion, the food, the music – it was a great evening, indicative of the style and panache of Palm Beach. Then again, we have come to expect nothing less from anything associated with Palm Beach Illustrated,” noted Roche Bobois Communications Director, U.S. Julien Bigan. “Adding an even greater level of glamour to the event was Hamilton Jewelers. Their participation not only added a great deal of elán to the evening, but to the mission of helping to raise awareness for Harmony House, which is one of the most respected and needed non-profit facilities of its kind in South Florida.”
