Robert Allen Embraces New Neutrals with Color Library: Landscape Color

RobertAllenLandscape1Four New Neutrals Provide On-Trend Interpretations of Leading Colors

RobertAllenLandscape2Robert Allen has looked to the natural, rugged earth to create its Fall 2015 Color Library: Landscape Color. The collection’s core inspiration stems from the environment, where raw wood and rocky crags reflect beauty in its purest, most basic form. Clean neutrals reflect a Nordic serenity, with names that speak to the materials for which they were named: Mica, Sandstone, Glacier, and Driftwood. By juxtaposing modern patterns with organic hues, Landscape Color encourages the elegant, tone-on-tone styling on trend in the interiors and fashion worlds today.

Robert Allen Design Director Hannah Alderson explains, “”We wanted Landscape Color to create a narrative and a special world. The raw aesthetic enhances our primary inspiration point — nature — while also providing an extremely chic look that doesn’t try too hard. Robert Allen’s color expertise is apparent throughout the collection by showcasing the power of these traditionally softer tones and giving neutrals a fresh life.””

The collection features a soothing palette that facilitates a timelessly elegant aesthetic. Mica uses its cooler, gray-blue hue to establish depth, while Sandstone adds a warmer take. Glacier, a soft shade of white, serves as a subtle stunner. Lastly, Driftwood takes on both warm and cool tones, providing an ideal coordinating color. These colors are complemented by a complex textures and fashion-forward patterns that, when mixed and match, can achieve highly dimensional spaces ranging from new traditional to modern and glamorous.
