Revolutionary Digital Printing Technologies for Interior Design to be Displayed for the First Time at NeoCon 2024

Wide-format imaging leader Roland DGA will be displaying its innovative digital printing technologies for the first time at a major interior design trade show when the company exhibits at NeoCon 2024, June 10-12, at THE MART in Chicago.

Renowned within the sign and graphics industry for its digital inkjet printers designed to produce vibrant, detailed signage, POP displays, labels, and packaging, Roland DGA has introduced new and exciting devices that create stunning interior design elements capable of transforming indoor commercial, hospitality, and residential spaces. The company’s latest TrueVIS UV printer/cutters, TrueVIS latex printers, and DIMENSE textural printers enable designers and manufacturers to create everything from customized wallcoverings and fine art reproductions to groundbreaking objet d’art pieces – in-house and on demand. Those attending NeoCon 2024 will be able to visit Roland DGA’s booth (#7-2049) to see impressive output samples and discover how digital printing can help them expand their creative and business opportunities.

While Roland DGA is new to NeoCon, they have been empowering innovative design companies with their technology for years. In a unified mission to make digital printing technology more accessible to the design community, Roland DGA partnered with Western Sensibility, a surface design and print studio in Missoula, Montana, to illustrate the power of digital printing technology to interior designers and architects.

“Our clients are extremely precise with their work, so it’s critical that our prints echo that level of quality, accuracy, and detail,” said Western Sensibility’s Founder and CEO, Kathryn Sanders. “As a surface design studio dedicated to experimentation, our Roland DG UV printer gives us the versatility and reliability we need to meet our customers’ specific needs quickly and cost-effectively. By specifically serving the interiors industry, Western Sensibility and Roland DGA are giving more creative freedom and solving problems for designers and architects alike.”

Another company helping to introduce digital printing to interior designers is Design Pool, an East Hampstead, New Hampshire-based pattern library that helps interior designers provide customers with the exact interior design elements they want, when they want them.

“Design Pool has hundreds of patterns in our library, each available in multiple colorways and ready to use in a seamless repeat,” notes Design Pool Founder Kristen Dettoni. “We have established partnerships with several digital print providers equipped with advanced Roland DG devices to help interior designers use this amazing technology and capitalize on a whole new frontier of exciting possibilities.”

NeoCon 2024 attendees can check out the TrueVIS MG-300, a wide-format UV printer/cutter that’s ideal for creating a variety of interior design elements, including customized wall graphics, canvas fine art reproductions, and more. Like all Roland DG roll-to-roll UV inkjets, the MG-300 delivers vivid, colorful prints with exceptional image quality, including dimensional and textural effects. In addition to its roll-to-roll UV printers, Roland DGA offers a selection of wide-format and smaller “benchtop” UV flatbed printers, which can print directly onto a vast array of materials and 3D objects.

Roland DGA will also be displaying one-of-a-kind wallcovering samples produced by DIMENSE textural printing technology. The DIMENSE solution, centered around the Dimensor S printer, makes creating high-end textured surfaces on-demand faster, simpler, and more profitable than ever. DIMENSE blends art with technology, enabling the user to simultaneously print vivid images and intricate embossing patterns in a single, seamless process. The Dimensor S printer uses water-based inks and media that is free of PVC, plasticizers, and phthalates to produce output that is not only visually stunning but also sustainable. DIMENSE is compliant with leading indoor safety standards such as AgBB and A+ certifications, ensuring treatments are safe and eco-friendly.

“We’re looking forward to exhibiting at NeoCon 2024, familiarizing interior design professionals with our advanced printers, and showing them what our technology can do,” said Roland DGA’s Business Development and Co-creation Manager, Kitt Jones. “These state-of-the-art devices make it easy to create customized on-demand design elements that can perfectly complement or even completely transform an indoor setting – whether that interior is the living room of a luxury home, the lobby of a corporate office, or the ballroom of an upscale hotel.”
