Turf Expands Textures Line, Now Including Stone-Inspired Finishes:
Introducing three new textures connecting design, nature, and acoustics
After nearly four years of research and iteration, Turf, the acoustic solutions manufacturer operating at the intersection of art, architecture, and technology, has expanded its line of nature-inspired finishes, to now include Stone Textures. Adding to the brand’s existing suite of eight wood textures, the curated collection of finishes applies the stunning texture and veining of stone to Turf’s high-performing felt wall and ceiling solutions.
“Coming from years of research and collaboration, the creation of our Stone Textures line emerged from a deep understanding of current market demands. This debut highlights our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of the design community as we continue to provide new, innovative products and finishes that blend aesthetics and high-performing acoustics,” said Rob Perri, Turf President. “The expansion of our textures collection gives designers and architects unparalleled creative freedom to elevate interiors with visual and aural features.”
Through Turf’s expert digital printing process, the three patterns— Marble, Travertine, and Granite— offer the organic veining and look of stone, paired with the high performance of Turf’s acoustics range. True to their namesakes, Marble is a more delicate pattern with less veining, Granite is the most densely printed pattern with an organic marbling, and Travertine meets the two in the middle with a balance of veining and color for additional range, and has the most prominent directionality.

To further enforce the textures’ realism, the Turf team curated a selection of colors pulled from their Hues palette to complement each design. For example, for Granite, they selected a darker shade offering similar to real granite, accentuating its denser pattern. For Marble, the team developed a selection of lighter shades to complement its more delicate veining. There are 31 colorways available across all three patterns; Marble has 8 colors, Travertine has 12 colors, and Granite has 11 colors.
To emulate the dynamic veining and intricate details of natural stone, Turf’s specialized technology is used to create a unique and inspired pattern, with no repeat, for each texture; these are printed onto Turf’s 9mm 60% recycled PET felt with water-based, UV cured ink.
These textures can be applied to a large selection of Turf’s 9mm acoustic solutions, however, book and continuous matching the Stone Textures is an exclusive option for Turf’s Barcelona and Monolith panels, creating an extra impactful look.
