Plumb the Hidden Depths of Beauty and Texture with Carlow by Camira

With riveting color blends and hidden depths in the details of the yarn, Carlow makes its debut as a versatile and flexible panel fabric developed by global textile manufacturer Camira.

Carlow is a synthetic, dobby-weave panel fabric, brought to life in 25 intriguing color mixes. The fabric is inspired by the calm, gentle landscape of its Celtic namesake in rural Ireland. It invites you to escape to a place of tranquility, discovering and exploring its hidden gems scattered throughout a vibrant textile landscape. With its acoustically transparent properties, Carlow helps maintain serenity in workspaces as it is easy on both the eyes and the ears.

Offering a new interpretation of the classic ‘plain’ weave fabric, Carlow appears understated and minimalist from a distance, but move closer and the color mixes are revealed with subtly sophisticated and daring blends.

Each colorway consists of between three and six different yarns making every one unique and diverse. Across the 25 colorways a total of 52 yarns are used – refined from the 200-yarn shades originally developed by Camira’s designers at the manufacturer’s spinning plant.

At the same time, Camira is launching an extended color palette for its polyester fabric, Era and the wider Era 66. Both Era fabrics and Carlow are designed to pair brilliantly together.
