Peter Pepper Products Celebrates 70 Years of Design Innovation
As a start up in 1952, Peter Pepper’s legacy of design innovation focused on accessory products for the home. Accessories have evolved into the ancillary product category, the need for specific designed functional products were developed to enhance the office environment.
Peter Pepper Products got its start in the founder’s home in Los Angeles with wife Jacquie Pepper, designing many of the wall art pieces. Peter Pepper was launched with an early recognition that taking the long view about what people need in their workplace would be a better strategy than by responding to the current trends.
Peter Pepper’s background in design, engineering, photography, and sales were helpful when he recognized the need for a range of products that enriched environments through both their aesthetic influence and their functional performance, while paying attention to design, craftsmanship and product choice. In the late 1950’s, Peter Pepper transitioned his residential accessory line into the newly emerging contract furniture industry.
Legacy products included Wall Sconce Candelabras, Clocks, Wood and Bronze Sculptures, Wall Art, Occasional Tables and more. As the company grew, Peter Pepper became known as ‘the source’ for contract accessories delivering the highest caliber of design and producing an inspired product line offering unparalleled selections.
The company remains family-owned and operated, continuing the tradition of design excellence with Mrs. Sigi Pepper as President/CEO with over 50 years as Design Director, Michael Pepper as Director of Operations and Kip Pepper as VP of Sales and Marketing, along with many dedicated and talented team members and independent sales representatives throughout the United States and Canada.
