Wolf-Gordon is delighted to welcome Chase Taylor—an accomplished New York City-based artist and textile designer—as its new Design Director. Taylor brings a wealth of experience to the role with an extensive background in both contract and residential textile design. As Design Director, Taylor will oversee wallcovering and textile design on behalf of the brand, bringing her deep understanding of material science, structure, and the poetry of weaving to create functional, high-quality, and environmentally conscious collections that advance Wolf-Gordon’s design vision.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have Chase join our team. At Wolf-Gordon, we’re committed to innovation and artistry—and Chase embodies both seamlessly.” says Marybeth Shaw, Chief Creative Officer of Marketing & Design at Wolf-Gordon.
Taylor previously worked as Director of Upholstery at Carnegie and Senior Designer at Pollack. Her career started as an editorial assistant at Martha Stewart Living, lending expansive perspective to her knowledge of the interior design industry. Taylor holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Fiber, Textile and Weaving Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design, and a certificate in Design Management from Parsons School of Art and Design in Paris. She will operate from the company’s Manhattan headquarters.
