TPG Architecture Promotes Three Long-Time Team Members

Nicole Pagano, Santanna Cowan, and Amanda Mullooly’s Diverse Expertise Continues to Drive the Firm Forward

TPG Architecture LLP, an award-winning New York City-based architecture and design firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Nicole Pagano to Studio Director, as well as Santanna Cowan and Amanda Mullooly to Creative Director. Nicole Pagano

Nicole Pagano joined TPG in 2015, bringing with her a background in fine arts and a deep passion for visual storytelling. Over the past decade, she has established herself as a versatile, cross-disciplinary designer, blending brand identity, wayfinding systems, and digital interfaces into cohesive, impactful work. With a strong focus on creating concepts that embody clients’ values, she ensures that every visual element serves a purposeful role.

Previously serving as Creative Director, Pagano will continue to develop solutions that seamlessly integrate brand identity with spatial design. She will continue to mentor her team, refining collaboration across studios and identifying new opportunities to reshape the power of place. Her impressive client list includes Booking.com, CIM Group, Google, JPMorgan Chase, LiveOnNY, National Hockey League (NHL), Newsday, and New York Public Library.

Santanna Cowan

Santanna Cowan’s journey at TPG spans eight years, including a return in 2019 after an internship in 2014, and has been marked by continuous growth. Drawing inspiration from architecture, historic preservation, and her travels, Cowan designs spaces that are both functional and responsive to her clients’ cultural backgrounds and future aspirations. She encourages diverse perspectives, redefining the possibilities of design while respecting the context and considering the lasting impact of each space.

In her new role as Creative Director, Santanna will oversee concept exploration, design development, space planning, and detailing for her studio’s leading workplace clients. She will focus on building strong relationships, supporting a collaborative studio environment, and inspiring her team to create innovative, sustainable, and strategic design solutions for enhancing the human experience in all of their projects. Her portfolio to date includes AEW Capital Management, King Street Capital, Argo Group, Cohen & Steers, DZ Bank, Silverstein Properties, and Tishman Speyer.

Amanda Mullooly

With over 12 years at TPG, Amanda Mullooly’s promotion to Creative Director underscores her significant contributions to the firm’s branding and graphics efforts. Having risen through the ranks, Mullooly now takes on a more prominent leadership role, integrating signage and wayfinding into every project and collaborating more closely across TPG’s multidisciplinary teams. Her focus is on streamlining processes, promoting efficient teamwork, and educating studios on the full scope of branding services.

Her design approach is rooted in a deep understanding of each client’s unique needs, balancing creativity with functionality. She brings a thoughtful, collaborative spirit to every project, always seeking new ways to amplify a brand’s identity through immersive environments. Her extensive experience spans a wide range of sectors, including financial services, entertainment, and healthcare, including prior work for Associated Press, Broadridge, Chegg, Madison Square Garden, MTA, Macmillan Publishers, Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), Points Guy, and Unilever. As Creative Director, she is poised to further enhance the firm’s reputation for designing compelling, brand-rich environments that leave lasting impressions.
