Kasthall, the renowned Swedish design house known for its industrially produced and crafted rugs, is strengthening its presence in the Americas. The company proudly announces the appointment of Danielle Zinn, the first ever Managing Director, Americas, marking an important step in Kasthall’s continued global expansion.

With over 30 years of experience in the high-end design industry, Zinn brings a proven track record in strategic planning, team building, leadership, sales, marketing, and driving innovation to achieve business objectives. Her extensive knowledge and strong relationships will help lead the team for continued success.

“We are thrilled to welcome Danielle Zinn as Managing Director of Kasthall Americas,” says Mirkku Kullberg, CEO of Kasthall. “Danielle brings extensive experience, deep market insight, and a genuine understanding of both the product and the industry in the American market. This is the perfect moment for Kasthall—design is once again at the heart of everything we do.”

Prior to joining Kasthall, Danielle Zinn earned her BFA in Interior Design from The College of New Jersey and began her career as a Resource Director and Senior Associate at Gensler in New York City. From there, she joined the team at Maharam where she spent 20 years cultivating relationships with the A&D community and developing strategies for business expansion and growth.

She has a knack for identifying innovative business opportunities, a history of strong professional achievement, a passion for recognizing the creative edge, and success in bringing a uniquely focused work ethic to any project that is presented. With a deep appreciation for fine design and quality materials, she is eager to build a dynamic team that will help take Kasthall to the next level in the Americas.

“It’s a privilege to be a part of Kasthall’s Swedish design legacy,” explains Danielle Zinn. “I’m excited to be working with such an incredible team and to lead Kasthall’s evolution in the Americas, ensuring that the brand’s heritage of craftsmanship, design, and innovation continues to inspire a new generation of architects and designers.”

Since joining the Network of Design (N.O.D.) in 2023, Kasthall has become one of the most iconic brands within the group’s portfolio. Under N.O.D.’s ownership and with a clear strategic growth plan, the company is entering an exciting new phase—focusing on both the Contract and Home segments worldwide.

The international market for high-quality rugs is growing rapidly, driven by a renewed appreciation for genuine materials, sustainability, and true craftsmanship. With this new leadership in North America, Kasthall aims to be closer to its customers and clients, building a strong professional organization, and further strengthening brand presence in the market.

As the company continues to grow both in North America and the global markets Zinn will develop strategies and partnerships with key A&D firms, dealers and other organizations to educate and inform them about the company’s history as well as new technologies and innovative solutions that the company has to offer.

Please join us in welcoming Danielle Zinn to the team and wishing her great success as she embarks on this new role.
