Janis Koberg assumed the role of Head of Corporate Communications at office furniture manufacturer Wilkhahn on April 1, 2026. In this position, the 32-year-old is responsible for the company’s internal and external communications and serves as the central contact for media inquiries as well as for cooperation with national and international trade and business press.
Koberg began his academic career studying Health Economics before completing a dual degree program in Business Administration (B.A.) at Wilkhahn. Since then, he has built a successful career within the company. Following positions in Product Management and Marketing, with a particular focus on sustainability, he took over responsibility for the Wilkhahn Academy in August 2023. He will continue to lead the Academy while also expanding his responsibilities to include Personnel and Organizational Development. By bringing these functions together, Wilkhahn aims to closely align knowledge management, strategic skills development and corporate communications in order to actively support the company’s ongoing transformation processes in an increasingly dynamic market environment.
With this internal succession, Wilkhahn is reinforcing its commitment to continuity while further developing its communications structures for the future. The reorganization of responsibilities ensures that media representatives, customers and market partners will continue to receive the reliable and professional support they have come to expect from the company.
