Veteran Architect Brings Decades of Design Leadership to the Renowned San Francisco-Based Firm

Walker Warner, an award-winning architecture firm known for its contextually driven design and residential expertise, is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Mottola, FAIA, as Partner and Chief Executive Officer. A nationally recognized leader in the field, Mottola brings over 35 years of experience in architecture, firm leadership, and strategic planning.

Mottola spent the majority of his career at Bohlin Cywinski Jackson (BCJ), where he served as a Principal and played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s national presence. During his tenure, he led high-profile projects across the United States, mentored multidisciplinary teams, and helped guide BCJ’s design direction and operational growth. His diverse portfolio spans residential, commercial, academic, and cultural work—unified by a commitment to design excellence and human-centered architecture.
