National design leader brings integrated, developer-driven expertise to one of the country’s fastest-growing cities
Ankrom Moisan, a leading architecture, interior design, brand, and planning firm, is expanding its footprint with the opening of a new office in Austin, Texas. The expansion marks a significant milestone for the firm as its first Texas location and responds to the growing regional demand for design partners who combine creativity and strategy to deliver lasting community impact.

The Austin office will be led by Principal Jason Lamb, whose expertise in all types of multifamily housing, including condominiums, market-rate and affordable, student housing, mixed-use, hospitality development, and urban infill positions the firm to meet the city’s most urgent design and housing needs. From the heart of Austin, the team will provide Ankrom Moisan’s full suite of integrated services, including architecture, interiors, and planning, all tailored to the growing market in Texas for both local and national development organizations.
“Austin’s energy, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit align perfectly with who we are as a firm,” said Lamb. “Our approach is deeply rooted in partnership, and we work closely with all stakeholders to design spaces that reflect community character while also accelerating leasing and maximizing long-term return on investment. This new office allows us to bring that collaborative model to one of the most exciting markets in the country.”
Known for its strategic, human-centered design ethos, Ankrom Moisan blends small-firm agility with big-firm capabilities by offering the responsiveness of a boutique studio supported by the technical depth of a large practice. The Austin office will focus on urban redevelopment, amenity-forward multifamily housing, and vibrant senior communities that capture the local identity while enhancing livability, market appeal, and equity goals.
“Developers today are looking for design teams who can not only envision great spaces but also deliver them efficiently and responsibly,” said Murray Jenkins, President of Ankrom Moisan. “By establishing roots in Austin, we’re expanding our ability to help clients navigate entitlement challenges, achieve design differentiation, and meet the region’s urgent housing needs.”
By combining architecture, interiors, and planning, Ankrom Moisan has delivered standout work across Texas, including Trinity Terrace for Pacific Retirement Services, a long-term, multi-phase collaboration since 2004, and projects for Vera Whole Health. The firm has also completed a number of hospitality projects across Texas for a large national brand. With the launch of the Austin office, the firm brings this proven expertise to Texas and furthers its mission to create housing that’s impactful, resilient, and differentiated by design.
