The Addition of New Design Talent Supports the Firm’s Growing Regional and National Portfolio
Multidisciplinary design firm //3877 welcomes three new designers to its Washington, D.C. practice: Senior Interior Designers Ann Walkowsky and Kristine Svedberg and Collaborator Eli Perez. The three bring strong track records across interior and architectural design, sharpening the team’s creative edge as its portfolio continues to grow.
“With these hires, we’re building a team with no ceiling on what it can take on,” says David Shove-Brown, partner and co-founder of //3877. “Ann Marie and Kristine lead clients and brands through every phase of a project, and Eli has a gift for turning complicated technical work into something clear and buildable. They’re exactly the kind of designers we’re excited to see carrying our work forward.”

Ann Walkowsky joins with nine years of interior design and project management across retail, healthcare, education, and large-scale commercial spaces. Her work in the DMV includes leading the design of a homeless shelter for Prince William County and serving as lead interior designer for a training facility for the Junior Tennis Champions Center and the University of Maryland women’s tennis team, where accessibility was a defining part of the design. Having guided projects from initial concepts through FF&E, documentation, and construction, she adds a practical, start-to-finish perspective to the firm’s fitness club work.

With eight years of experience in projects including multifamily and national hotel brands, Kristine Svedberg has a knack for spaces that balance brand and comfort. She led the ground-up Caption by Hyatt in Nashville and reworked the brand prototype to hold a tight budget, and her range extends to preservation projects like Planters Inn, a historic Luxury Collection renovation for Marriott spanning nearly 40 room types. She arrives as a Senior Interior Designer to lead hospitality projects and keep clients, brands, and vendors moving in lockstep.

Eli Perez joins with a background in base building and multifamily design, on projects ranging from two-unit buildings to high-rises of more than 400 units. His work has taken projects from concept and permitting through project management and construction administration. Having worked every stage, he speaks both languages on a project, the creative and the technical, and switches between them without missing a beat.
As //3877 continues to grow, these additions build on the blend of client instinct and design craft, a balance that is a signature of the firm’s work across the DMV and beyond. For more information about //3877, please visit https://www.3877.design/
