“Variety of Work” announced as the theme of ORGATEC 2020

The preparations for a successful ORGATEC 2020 are already in full swing. There are still almost 18 months to go before the leading international trade fair for the modern working world opens its doors. The event will be hosted in Cologne from 27 to 31 October 2020. But there is already a host of exciting announcements about the programme lined up for exhibitors and visitors at ORGATEC.

The theme for the forthcoming edition of ORGATEC has already been chosen: “Variety of Work” will provide the event’s overarching focus. Variety defines how we work today: connected, creative, collaborative, in teams and across national borders and hierarchies. But variety also refers to the diversity of our modern work environments – work no longer takes place only in the office. A workplace can be anywhere and can take many different forms. Work environments must provide space and be open, flexible, inspiring and versatile. They must promote exchanges, collaboration, networking, knowledge transfers, new ways of thinking, and learning. But the diversity of people that we work with and the variety of work cultures are also reflected in ORGATEC’s theme.

One especially exciting announcement from the organisers is that three days of the forthcoming edition of ORGATEC will be co-located with euvend & coffeena. euvend & coffeena is the leading international trade fair for vending and office coffee service. It is where new work meets new retail. New to-go concepts for the out-of-home market for offices and the contract business will be presented. The co-location of the events opens up new opportunities for ORGATEC visitors in these market segments.
