officeinsight magazine, a leading voice in workplace design media, today announced the launch of learninginsight magazine, a new publication dedicated exclusively to amplifying insights at the intersection of design and human performance for learning places across K–12 and post-secondary education. The magazine will officially launch on July 22, 2026.
learninginsight will deliver in-depth coverage, analysis, and conversations about the rapidly evolving landscape of school, college and university designs — from innovative classroom environments and collaborative learning spaces to campus master planning and the growing juncture of technology and learning practices. The publication will serve architects, interior designers, facility managers, commercial interiors manufacturers, dealers, educators and education leaders who are shaping the places wherever learning happens.
“Our mission at officeinsight magazine is to bring you the most important news in workplace design. learninginsight magazine will further that mission to include coverage and dialog about the profound changes happening in schools, colleges, and universities.” said Rob Kirkbride, editor-in-chief of OI Publications, which also brings readers viewpoint magazine and Converge. “Educational environments are being reimagined from the ground up, and this moment deserves dedicated, expert coverage.”
Leading the new publication will be two of the most respected names in educational design: Jolene Levin and Dr. Lennie Scott-Webber. Both bring decades of experience, research, and advocacy in learning environment design to their roles, positioning learninginsight as an authoritative and practitioner-informed resource from its first issue.
“Jolene and ‘Dr. Lennie’ are the perfect partners for this magazine,” Kirkbride added. “They are experts in the field who have their fingers on the pulse of future-focused learning experiences.”

Levin will define and develop content for learninginsight as the Editor, and coordinate content from experts in the field. She has built a career at the crossroads of design, education and human-centered thinking, with a deep understanding of how physical space influences student outcomes, teacher experience and community connection. Dr. Lennie Scott-Webber will act at the Contributing Editor across the publication, and will have a feature column “Reflections” included in each issue. Dr. Lennie’s work compliments Jolene’s in that both focus on human-centered design. She is known as an international thought leader, passionate about the unanswered solutions that leave students behind in their learning. With a focus on neuro-centric design issues, she has pioneered research strategies addressing how the design of the built environment impacts learning and learning outcomes. Together, they bring a rare combination of on-the-ground practice, academic rigor and industry relationships defining the editorial character of learninginsight.

The launch comes at a pivotal moment for educational design. Learning places nationwide are grappling with shifting pedagogical models, post-pandemic reassessments of physical space, increasing demands for flexibility and technology integration and renewed focus on student and faculty wellbeing. learninginsight will be the publication following these conversations with the depth and context they deserve.
Each issue will feature project showcases, thought leadership, research-driven reporting, product and material coverage relevant to learning environments and dialogues with the designers, educators and leaders driving change. The magazine will be available digitally, consistent with the accessible, reader-first model which has defined officeinsight.
